The first official IRIS publication was released today at the Semantic Desktop workshop in Ireland.
Sun, Nov 6th, Galway Ireland -- A publication entitled "IRIS: Integrate. Relate. Infer. Share" was presented today at the 1st Workshop on The Semantic Desktop - Next Generation Personal Information Management and Collaboration Infrastructure, part of the International Semantic Web Conference.
Two related IRIS announcements were made:
- openiris.org is now open for business
- IRIS will be released as open source in January 2006, under an LGPL license.
