Using the Ontology

We have several resources available to help support the usage of the ontology.

The Ontology FAQ can be useful for a new user to get a better understanding of ontology related terminology as well as decisions and rationale for the ontology.

The Ontology Cookbook collects frequently used ontological expressions that can be useful for writing queries, for using the pub/sub facility.

The OAA Query API gives the APIs that need to be used for accessing the information using the CALO ontology.

To make the updates into the ontology, you can use OAA Update API.

To use the ontology in pub/sub, the necessary API is forthcoming (as of 2007-01-16).
